1 Week Left in Public Voting Period for Anticipating Climate Hazards Contest

1 Week Remaining in Anticipating Climate Hazards Public Voting Period!

MIT’s Climate CoLab, in collaboration with UN Secretary-General’s Climate Resilience Initiative: Anticipate, Absorb, Reshape (A2R), ran an innovative contest which sought proposals that suggested new ways vulnerable communities can best prepare for climate-related hazards, and what tools could potentially be used to incentivize early action.

The expert judging panel evaluated almost 100 proposals that set out to answer this question, and selected 19 Semi-Finalists. From among them, only 5 proposals were selected as Finalists. From June 1st until June 29, the global community can vote for their favorite proposal. The proposal with the greatest amount of votes will win the Popular Choice Award and receive wide recognition by MIT Climate CoLab.

Make sure to vote for your favorite proposal before it’s too late!

The Public Voting Period is now in full swing, and there’s only 1 week left to vote for your favorite proposal. To vote for a proposal:
