New Contests Now Open!

Three new Climate CoLab contests launched this week on reducing emissions from the aviation sector, drying firewood for clean cookstoves, and how MIT can best implement its Climate Action Plan

These join 10 other open contests, accepting proposals until May 23, 2016. Winners will be invited to MIT to present their proposal, included in the Climate CoLab’s Winner’s Program, and eligible to win a $10,000 Grand Prize.  Contest entries will help build national and global climate plans later in the year.

Call for Catalysts
We’re seeking passionate volunteers with issue-expertise to give feedback on Climate CoLab proposals.
Deadline March 21, 2016.
Climate CoLab Welcomed UN Climate Advisor to MIT
We welcomed Janos Pasztor, Senior Adviser to the UN Secretary-General on Climate Change, to MIT’s campus last week, in collaboration with several MIT Centers, to discuss the future of the UNFCCC, and what’s next for national climate plans.
